Catching up - April 2010
One of my favorite places to play...the drawer in the kitchen with all the tupperware. Don't understand why they have to keep stuff in there. I have to empty it out every time I want to climb in.
Mom's farewell party at work. Here I am looking cool in my new Chicago Booth shirt with some of mom's cool colleagues. Left to Right: Alex, Kristen, Tracey (mom's awesome boss), Daniela, me, Mom and Agatha
Street view of New Orleans. Family vacation...lots of photos below...hard to pick, there were so many good ones. Dad loved the opportunity to take lots of photos.
Family photo on the street car. We got on and had no idea where we were going and that it went really far west, but asked the driver for a restaurant so we got off there (ways from our hotel), had lunch and went back. Mom and dad said it was nice to see a different side of NO.
Dad and I walking on the riverwalk. Saw a cool musician and stopped to dance for while, which he liked :)
Mom and I walking around looking for art to buy
Lots of walking so dad took me on his shoulders for a while...fun!
I got a little tired so took a nap
Mom and I hanging out in the sun...love my shades
Dad wanted to swim in the ocean so we drove to Dauphin Island, Alabama. They had a nice beach and dad loved the waves. He had never swam in the ocean with big waves before. I was not a fan and stayed on the beach with mom.
A happy dad
A happy me
Dad and I...mom likes this photo and since she manages my blogg...it's included :)
Cool bridge we drove over to get to the island, 17814 ft long.
On the way back we stopped in Biloxi, Mississippi to stretch our legs and run around on the beach some more. And of course, dad took some more photos...
Mom took one as well :)
NO was so much fun...there were musicians everywhere. I really got to work on my dance moves, which everyone else seemed to like as well!
A strange girl at the table next to us kept coming over with her Sponge Bob but would never let me play with it...pretty mean I thought. Girls!!!
We got the perfect table for lunch one day. Corner table on a balcony on Bourbon Street.
Someone threw me some beads as we walked down Bourbon Street...hmm...strange, but it was fun to play with too!
One evening we took a dinner cruise on the Mississippi River. We went on the Steamboat Natchez. It was fun!
I had so much fun running around and it wore me out. When it was time for us to sit down for dinner, I fell asleep. How convenient for mom and dad!
View of downtown NO on our way back...too packed for a stroller to get through so I'll have to go back when I'm older...and probably without mom and dad :)
At the hotel, goofing around with mom.
River walk musician (the one mentioned above)
We finally found some art on the last day in NO. Mom and dad even bought me a piece. Here is a photo of me and the artist.
Time for fika. Found a cute cafe with home made ice cream. Mom and dad also got some post cards written...good thing I can't write yet so they take care of that for me :)
Time to go back to Chicago. Dad and I on the airplane.
Packing time. Found mom's hat and thought I looked good in it...pink may be my color.
Nick, Michaela, Petr and PJ came to visit. Nick and I hugging.
Nick and I playing...we have so much fun together!

The Jordans came over for dinner. Emma and I dancing. had to show my moves :)
Emma and I hanging out . Looking pretty cute together and thought it would be a good last photo for April.
